Not really, most gun shows and trade fairs charge an entry fee to gain 
access just like we do.  And the SCA is open to the public as we allow 
anyone to attend if they pay their site fee and try to dress in pre-1600 
garb.  In the eyes of the law I don't think there would be any distinction.
