[NR] After-Prom party Music

Calling any and all SCA musicians and artisans.

>From mid-night April 16/17 until 6 a.m. Namron has
been invited to entertain, educate, and have fun at
the Maysville After-Prom party.  The organizer of this
event is going all out for the kids.  The theme of the
prom is medieval.  The whole community is getting
involved.

We would like to use some of the time to teach the
kids period dances:  Hole-in-the-Wall, Tangle Brawl,
etc.  If we must we will use recorded music, but think
how much more fun and interesting live musicians with
period instruments would be.  We also need assistance
with hands-on arts.  We already have inkleloom weaving
lined up and chainmail making. (I'm not sure what
else)  

Many of the students have gotten so excited about this
theme that they have made Medieval garb to wear just
for the after-party.  This will be a great opportunity
to show a new group of people what the SCA and the
north of Ansteorra is all about.
