Marc’s Right.  “Keeping them central” means that the outlying regions have to ALWAYS travel (except one weekend out of 8).  
 
To take his example further… if we only did one central to four outlying regions

Interesting,   Granted, that’s only looking at a Eldern-Weisenfeur/Namron-Northkeep type of comparison… if we threw in actual distances it would be a slightly different metric I think.  
 
Regardless, lets just rotate the practices to every group.  That way, every month one group gets to stay home, AND gets an influx of different fighters.  Fighting different fighters is what will make us all stronger and bring up the prowess of all the fighters in the region.

Actually, by keeping the practice in the central areas it helps no one but those in the central areas. I've included a simple graph below. If you assume the distance from the SW portion of the state to the central area to be the same as the distance from the NE part of the state to the center, and label that distance "1". Then a trip from Lawton to Tulsa would be twice that distance, or "2".

You can see that the "every fourth month" plan, allows those in the central area to only travel half as far in the eight month period, but everyone else has to travel the same amount.
