Subject: [NR] Roman resources....for costume and such
http://www.romanarmy.com/rat might be helpful.
and have you tried:
"Roman Military Clothing (3): AD 400-640" by D'Amato and Sumner ISBN:
184176843X
"The World of Roman Costume" ISBN: 0299138542
"Ancient Greek, Roman & Byzantine Costume" ISBN: 0486426106
I have these here in a box, but which box????
Later Roman civilian costume is often a bit Germanic, and of course, the
book by
Dr. Lillian Wilson on "Roman Togas" has a bit on Late Roman toga styles.
