Just two more days until we are getting together for a fabulous day of classes, fighting, and hanging out at the park. Are you ready? If you need any directions, or want to check out the up to the minute information on the classes, you should check out our web page. http://namron.ansteorra.org/events/laurelfieldday.html.
I have some bad news about the restaurants in the Union. They are going to have to be closed for some remodeling through Monday. We, as the SCA, can not bring in food to serve. However, individuals are welcome to bring food and drink in the building. So feel free to bring whatever with you. Also, Campus Corner is just like a block away and it has several restaurant that will be open.
Now, because food is important, let's talk about the cook out. I am suggesting that everyone bring something to grill and something to share. If you want something more specific, ask me, I always love an opportunity to tell people what to do.
We have had some questions about what to wear. Garb is very appropriate. You need to know though that some of the classes are going to be messy and involve things like paint and fire. Wear whatever makes you most comfortable.
We have a few last minute additions and changes to the schedule, so I am posting a copy below.
In case you want to know what the fighter practice will involve, I am also posting the numbers for our marshals. Our Knights Marshal is Terrance and his number is (405) 343-5129. The Rapier Marshal is Sebastiana and his number is (405) 386-3874. His email is scooterjester at yahoo.com.
As usual, I am happy to answer questions and to help where I can. Email me, or call me on the phone. We should be on campus around eight on Saturday and you can call us after that on Annais's cell at 405.921.0356. My home number is 405.310.6708.
