[NR] NEW CHILD POLICY FOR THE SCA

Greetings from Sir Cassius the Seneschal from Wiesenfeuer.

There  is a new policy that has been implemented as of last weekend that 
every one can get but the gist is that all children's activities MUST 
have at least 2 adults not related, and that parents must be more 
responsible for their young children.  This is the MAJOR change in the 
parents part...

This policy does not relieve parents or guardians of their primary 
responsibility for the welfare and behavior of their children.

Kingdom--or event--rules regarding a requirement for minors 12 and under

However, the best way that we can work into change is to talk about how 
we can help out with children's activities. Things will have to change a 
bit for those that have children at events and those that have kids MUST 
read the new policy.  If you can't find it I can send it to you, I am 
not sure where the link is but i suspect it can be found on the 
Ansteorra website or SCA website.
