...and the big one is Ogallala, which stretches from the Texas Panhandle to South Dakota.

I mentioned the discussion to Peg and she did some digging and found
Pradaria which should be Prairie in Italian.  The prairie describes much of
the respresented lands and those lands shaped the peoples on them and also
shapes are experiences in the SCA.  It looks like a name that can be used in
a great deal of things and should have tons of things that will rhyme.

In my looking the things that I noticed about the lands that have also
shaped us have to do with hidden wealth, such as our auquifers, natural gas,
and oil.  I got a kick out of one of the aquifers is actually named Vamoosa,
but it is just a small one as opposed the the major one of the US that is
partially located in our areas.
