Good cousins,

I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this missive.  On the
morrow I journey forth to the Shire of Rosenfeld to enjoy your company on
the fields of Three Kings.  I look forward to the merriment, fighting and
friendship!  The next several weeks are jam-packed with melee fighting in
Ansteorra!

As our warriors practice their art on the field, both for the enjoyment of
striving at feats of arms today and in preparation for Gulf Wars in March,
we will be assisted in our endeavor by the marshals of Ansteorra.  We can
NEVER have too many (good) marshals!  :)

I would like to encourage everyone who has ever had an interest in
marshaling to seek me out, or seek out one of my regional deputies, or a
local knight marshal, or a local knight, centurion or senior fighter and
find out how you can lend a hand.  At Gulf Wars, if every person with
armour was allowed to take the field and NONE were required to step off to
marshal, our host being increased can only aid us in victory.  Every able
bodied fighter will be most grateful for your efforts!

I would love to be able to put a new, interested "marshal in training" with
each experienced marshal we have at each of our melee events over the next
couple weeks.  I'll be attending Three Kings and Bordermarch Melees.
Unfortunately work will take up my time during War of Ages.  But I assure
you, if you are going to be at any of these events and want to learn the to
marshal, we will help you out!

Heavy fighters (who don't fight rapier too), please consider learning how
to be a marshal for the rapier fighters.  Rapier fighters (who don't fight
heavy too) please consider learning how to be a marshal for the heavy
fighters!

I look forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks, and as I said, if you
have an interest in marshaling, please seek me out and let's talk!
