[NR] Mooneschadowe Triumphe of the Apocalypse aka Triumphe of the Eclipse VII

The Province of Mooneschadowe cheerfully invites you to a celebration of
the prophesied End of All Days on September 14-16 at the Will Rogers Scout
Reservation outside of Cleveland, Oklahoma! The weekend promises to be full
of fun for all, with many activities that should amuse and satisfy all,
including of course our various championships.  A working list of

So, what championships do we have to offer? The Guardian of the Eclipse
tourney, a tourney that guarantees plenty of good fights for our chivalric
fighters. Then there's the Insegnante of the Eclipse, a tourney wherein not
only the rapier victor is recognized, but also the fighter chosen by his or
her peers who most nearly represents the ideals and inspiration rapier
fighters seek as a community of scholars.  The Yeoman and Marksman of the
Eclipse tournaments will be held at a new archery and thrown weapons range
close to the center of event activities, as in the recent past. The Artisan
of the Eclipse is chosen through a judged A&S competition. In a like
manner, the Minstrel of the Eclipse is a judged competition, where
competitors must be prepared with not only a standard bardic piece but also
a second piece that will involve the audience. And finally, our Chess
championship culminates in a grand finale with a game of Live Chess! Come
and watch, or be one of the pieces!

We have activities for the children as well! Those activities will
definitely include a children's quest and a youth combat activity on
Saturday, as well as cardboard shield making planned for Sunday morning.
 Children-specific versions of some of our championships are being
determined, so keep an eye on the website.

The event opens Friday evening with a Torchlight Bastard Sword Tourney, and
finishes Sunday afternoon with closing court after the Insegnante and
Newcomer Chivalric Tournaments.
