[NR] period style equipment

greetings

in an attempt to increase both attendance at small group events and the 
usage of period style equipment i am donating a period style bamboo 
backed ipe longbow
as the prize for a period style novice shoot at an upcoming cantons event.
since there seems to be a growing interest in period style archery at 
events, i feel that this will help put period style bows in the hands of 
people that need it the most, since most top flight archers already have 
bows.
but since i know that i can't afford to make thousands of bows  and 
arrows quickly.....

I do hereby challenge all bowyers and fletchers  and yes even leather 
workers to make and donate something of a period style ( bows / arrows / 
quivers / arm guards / etc ) as the prize for a period style shoot at a 
small groups event near you !!!
