central areas it helps no one but those in the central areas. I've
included a simple graph below. If you assume the distance from the SW portion
of the state to the central area to be the same as the distance from the NE
part of the state to the center, and label that distance "1". Then a trip from
<st1:City w:st="on">Lawton</st1:City> to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Tulsa</st1:place></st1:City> would be twice that distance, or "2".
