This is somewhat old now, but I've just gotten to reading it.  Talana
is right in that there were some verses missing, but then there are
many, many verses that have been added in the past 20 years.  But
the important part that no one has mentioned is that the chorus is
missing from that version.

It is:

"By the rising of the Star, by the rising of the Star
We're the [insert verse subject here] of Ansteorra
by the rising of the Star!"

ex:
"We're the boys from Ansteorra by the Rising of the Star!"
"We're the women of Ansteorra by....."
"They're the children of Ansteorra...."
