	Your seamstresses could use any drawstring pants pattern very
successfully for fighting pants.  Something important to remember about
fighting clothes: they are subject to much stress.  So three things to
remember are 1. Gussets.  These are insets at the crotch (and for
fighting tunics, underarms) which spread the stress from one seam to
two. 2. Finishing raw edges.  Even with fabric that is resistant to
ravelling, there is always some.  Finishing the edges with a zigzag
stitch will add much to a garment's lifespan.  3. TRIPLE SEAM STRESS
POINTS!  Can't "stress" this enough!
	Pick good stout fabric.  Never use polyester for fighting.  It
does not breathe and is like wearing a plastic bag.  Heavy cotton twill
or the like is best.
