It is as Merrick says.  They would have been brought back as
slaves/curiousities.  However, I do recall Master William having told
me once, that he met an individual with an Aztec personna.  This is of
course, rare and unusual.  Also, remember Pocahantas was brought back
to England and presented to the court of Queen Elizabeth.  Pocahantas
died shortly thereafter of smallpox.
