I'm sure that there will be a few of us (5-8?) there between 10 and 3.
Don't know about the loaner armor but we may be able to scrounge him up
something to wear.
<< Also, will the loaner armor be available for the Moonshadowe Guardian?
I am guessing that something like that is good for the newby.>>
If he's planning to play in the tourney, he'll need to authorize before he
he would be allowed to enter any tourney. This is to help assure that he is
familiar with the rules of the list, that he can attack and *defend *
himself in
a safe manner. Depending on the Authorizing Marshal and the situation,
authorizing can be done in as small a time as one bout or as long as a
couple
of months. If he just wants to practice, I'm sure that arrangements could
be made
to get him in harness there.
<< Also, are their loaner weapons to use at such things or a way to get
something between
now and then? Jim is invisioning a Celtic Ax that he read about that is
about 5' long with an extended blade on one end and a hook on the other.

Weapons are generally personal. Usually, loaner weapons don't exist.
However,
most fighters don't mind loaning their toys occasionally and he is in the
right part
of the kingdom to borrow an ax.;-)
