Your request to take a conversation private, a freedom of speech you do
have, should have been a private email, as it is not an administrative
freedom for you nor anyone else but the administrator of a list to exercise.

If you have a problem with a thread on any list, contact the list
administrator of that list for help in resolving or understanding the
problem and or solution.
