NK - Blood Melees(long)

Greetings unto the greatest Barony in all of the known World Northkeep,

  I am sending this missive to not only inform but challenge as well. Your 
Canton Rundel will be having our first ever Blood melee at margrave Vormund 
V this year on Sunday October 24. A blood Melee is a  team competition 
involving two five man teams opposing each other on the blood field. The 
object is to stack the skull on a stick there are two sticks one on each 
side of the field.
The positions,

The Quick
short single sword and Gauntlet, this is the only person who is able to 
touch the skull at ALL without penalty.

The guard
seven half foot glaive or spear defends the quick

Forward Slash
Great sword or Great axe or six foot glaive

2Backslashes
six foot glaive

If you are struck in a limb you treat it like a loss limb
If struck with a killing blow you are out for 10 counted out loud seconds. A 
marshal must be able to hear you when you count.
The game starts with the quicks of both teams in a crcle in the middle of 
the field. No other combatant can attack until the skull leaves the circle. 
Each contest will last five minutes. So you need to place the skull on the 
stake for your team to win in five minutes. If you are the quick and you are 
struck with a killing blow then you must release the skull.
