Greetings all,

Well I guess I stirred up a mess with this one.
What my original intent was:

1. To have the Tourney and let every one watch the fighting
2. Then to have small groups of displaying and talking about the other
aspects of our society.
3. to have lots of fun

Let me explain these
1. This day is a demo in the park but more than that it is the day for our
only local tourney where we get to find out from among our own who has the
right stuff to help defend Northkeep. I never meant to detract from this,
only to enhance it.

2. When the fight was over I thought groups of people doing different things
would be neat. If one group were sewing by hand and talking about different
styles of clothing, one group doing bardic, one group fighting, one group
speaking and discussing personas and research then this would give a very
open format for members of the public to see what we do and to have a chance
to join in.

3. I though that all of us spending time with each other doing all the stuff
we love to do would be lots of fun.

I said to myself "self this is a good idea you should share it with the
others" and I did. So here we are...

I for one will be there in garb with some A&S stuff I am working on and I
will be working the crowd as it were answering questions and speaking in my
faux Scottish accent.

If someone who is well versed in Bardic can get some people to tell stories
and sing a few exciting songs I bet the public would really like that and if
some one else were playing music on an instrument that would be as cool.
Some one else could be sewing and making stuff to wear/ embroidery/
cross-stitch, calligraphy, etc it all would be great. If there were people
fighting at the same time then (after the tourney) it would be great, and if
the weather were good it would be perfect.

So that is what my idea was...I hope I haven't ruined anyone's mood. I just
wanted to explain.

Service with a smile
Ian
