Okay, I know I'm just jumping in here with out really looking first, but
adhesive and hair do go together, if you mix it just right and use a spray
bottle like what you can get for cologne.  The trick is to add just enough
water so that it evaporizes quickly, but holds your hair. I use an adhesive
on my braids so I don't have to worry about rubber bands.
