A good example of this is Mikal the Ram.  You feed him booze he
performs.  An equitable trade for such a talented Norseman.  

And don't forget the sing along fires.  Not terribly coomon around here
but they tend to be fun.  Regular performing types are welcome to do do
a piece or two but the major  entertainment is the attendees themselves.
And don't worry if you cannot hold a tune.  As the quote goes..."If you
can't sing well, sing loud."  This kind of fire is what the kingdom
songbooks etc. were created for.
