NK - now for the good news

Well, Eric was diagnosed with viral meningitis or encephalitis.  
Excruciatingly painful, but unlike the bacterial one not life-threatening.  
He's on antibiotics for the sinusitis, but the virus he'll have to beat on 
his own.  He's rehydrated and has been off morphine for over 24 hrs.  He'll 
be staying a second night in the hospital, but should be coming home tomorrow 
sometime.  He's in much less pain now, controllable with alternating doses of 
ibuprofin and acetominophen, and his appetite's back.  He's definitely eager 
to get out, but he's doing much better.
For all of you who wrote offering help, prayers, energy, and so on, thanks.  
We're going to be OK here.
