Just a thought.  As long as it is a winter hat, you
shouldn't get too hot, but remember Ansteorran Winters
(at least up north here) run two ways: COLD and NOT
REALLY COLD.  I have seen people at non-SCA events end
up with heat stroke in December-January because they
dressed for winter in a chilly fall like weather
streak.  Again, just a thought.

And for those of you who know what I speak of, how was
the Crab and Seafood last night?
