NK - Seamus Update

Seamus was taken into emergency surgery this morning because the 
"patch" they used to seal the perforated bowel busted loose.  They 
essentially had to do the same surgery over again and he now has two 
collostemy (sp?) bags.  He is back to heavy drugs and ICU until they 
release him to a room, no estimate even given.

According to his mom, the doctors have not had to deal with someone 
with his exact problems before (dialysis, perfed bowel, etc.) and 
there are no precedents for handling this mix of problems.  They are 
having to break new ground in the process of a cure.
