There are three tabards commonly worn by NK people. Two are different
guards tabards. The third dates back to pre-coronet days and is commonly
refered to as the NK expeditionary forces tabard. This does not exclude
others being made.

IIRC, the EF tabard is red with the Baronial _badge_/archery taget on front.
The back is an Ansteorran Army tabard (Yellow with a ten pointed black star
and wide black border). Anybody can wear one of these. Thorvald can still
be seen wearing his periodically.

The Guards tabards are as follows: Red tabard with the Saltire (Big X) and
Tower on front, red back with Ansteorran badge, narrow black edging front &
back. The other is identical with the exception that the front is plain
red.

I think the only pattern reserved by Baronial Law is the complete NK device.
This is the property of the Coronet. The others are matters of tradition.
