[Northkeep] Newcomer things

I am getting ready to get a page together for newcomers.  Any suggestions
of things you would like to see included are welcome.  In my search for
what is already out there, I came across this page.

lots of great info on how to welcome newcomers.  That first impression
means so much.  I am also going to get some fliers and business cards done
for handouts.

As for other Hospitaller things, I found out in my meeting yesterday with
the other hospitallers in the region that we hold a great many more demos
than most others around.  So, I guess I will just leave us listed where we
are and try to get some more publicity for our Dionadair and Ensign
Tournament.  If there are specific local events that you all would like to
see us participate, that sounds great to me and we can work on it.  I loved
the idea or working with a local theater when they have a period film
opening and possibly providing atmosphere for Shakespeare in the Park.  It
would give us a group of people with some interest in the period and also
supporting our community.  It seems that in providing a connection between
us and local groups who are involved in the same interests we are, will add
to the strength of our game.
