At the barony's moot last evening, one of the topics covered was the
voting and selecting of a baronial motto. This topic, and the
achievement voted on last moot, have been discussed for almost a year
now in a variety of locations.

There were many motto suggestions made in the last few months. The
entire list (and a few last minute write-ins) were reviewed and voted
on by the populace. A first vote by ballot showed that three mottos
were well ahead in the voting of all others and very close in voting.
A second round of voting, just among the three most popular, ended
with the selection of the following baronial motto. (We believe the
Latin grammer is correct but will verify.)

Vir in Iunctus. Translation: Strength in Unity.

May this motto and the spirit it represents open the next chapter in
the life and history of our barony.

Vivat Northkeep!

Lady Rosamund Blaunchflur, Herald
Barony of Northkeep
