NK - A Short Tale

In the Middle Ages, there was an astrologer who had prophesied to the king, 
that his favorite mistress would soon die. The woman did die, a short time 
later. The king was outraged at the astrologer, certain that the prophecy had 
caused her death.
He summoned the astrologer, and commanded of him, "Tell me now, when will YOU 
die?!!"
The astrologer realized that the king was planning to kill him, immediately, 
no matter what answer he gave, so he replied thoughtfully, " Your majesty, I 
do not know exactly when I will die. I only know that, whenever I die, the 
King will die three days later!"
