Anawyn, I do hope you will reconsider your promise to never again ask
questions on the list. I am sorry there was a little nasty snit over things
and I am sorry it was directed at you. I know that must have really hurt
you, as I know you have the barony's best interest at heart and were only
trying to clarify information and understand things.

I find it is very important to clarify things so I know what is going on and
have the facts, not rumors. I'm sure that is why you asked questions. And
good questions at that. I'm also sure others -- including me -- appreciated
you asking so we too could find out what was going on and get the facts.

Anawyn, you have done good service by asking questions.

I believe asking questions is extremely important. I also believe publicly
asking important questions that concern all of us is beneficial to everyone,
even to the people who, I feel , wrongly chastised you for asking. I
encourage everyone to ask questions and become informed and in the know.
Despite what many may believe, information is power, and the more you share
information, the more empowered and cohesive a group becomes. And this is
good for individuals and for the whole.

So, Anawyn, I do hope you will reconsider your promise and continue to ask
questions.

Members of Northkeep, I encourage you to do the same: always ask questions
until you understand something, even if it means asking the hard
questions.It doesn't mean you have to be rude or obnoxious in asking the
questions; it means you didn't understand something and you care enough to
want to get it straight. And those of us who are so quick to chide others
for asking hard questions, try to remember we all are just trying to get the
facts and understand what is happening.

So, with this missive, I'm sure you now all understand why I am called Lynn
the Inquisitive.
