Sorry for the mass posting, but just wanted to make sure everyone knew
about this. This week is Chautauqua and it is a wonderful experience,
definatly my favorite cultural thing in Tulsa. Here is the site at the
library about this weeks line up and also links for both more info on them
and about the Chautauqua movement in
general. http://www.tulsalibrary.org/chautauqua/

Something that they didn't list on the site but was on the flier was the
special program tomarrow night. They will have a band from Central H.S.
playing at 7 and then at 8 they have 10 different local students who will
persent different historical figures. Also, for the rest of the week, if
they follow their usual format there will be various musical entertainments
at 7pm and then the main presentation at 8. It is at the OSU-Tulsa campus
downtown under a big tent. They have folding chairs or you can bring your
own or blankets. It is free. Picnics are encouraged and they have always
had a food vendor there also. This is the 10th year for Tulsa to do
Chautauqua and it should be a wonderful week.

Hope to see many of you there,
Susan
