Heilsan!

Gulf Wars... We kicked their tails! Northkeep's fighters were superb, in
both the Chivalric and Rapier venues. Thanks to all who fought, did service,
or just had a good time. That's what it's all about, and Northkeep does it
with class. Thanks to Lady Zahava who helped with the Youth Rapier
activities. Thanks also, to those of you who were so generous in your
donations for the gifts for Aeldomere, we appreciate it. Vivat Northkeep
(who had the most northern fighters again)!!

There are lots of fun events coming up. Sheep Wars Returns promises to be a
very fun event...rumor has it that all things must be sheep, including
anything political, so be prepared for some huge laughs. Take your sense of
humor with you!

Next up will be Northern Regional Warlord. Please remember if you have
volunteered to work, be on time for your shift or activity so that the
schedule won't run too far behind. His Majesty will be in attendance, and
there will be 2 peerage circles, so there will be lots of out of region
folks. Show them why we love the North so much and have a great time.

Next will be the Festival of Japan. The shire of Brad Leah has some of the
nicest folks in the kingdom, and some of the best food we have ever eaten.
Everyone who can is urged to attend. It promises to be a wonderful and fun
event.

>From the far south of our region, to the far north... Wasteland Games is an
easygoing event with many activities, and fun for everyone. Pay a visit to
our neighbors and support their shire's event.

Also, Namron is hosting a compound at the annual Medieval Faire in Norman.
This is the largest demo in the North, and help is always welcome. Even if
you are new, you can help out. Just ask the folks at the compound what needs
to be done. We get new members from this event every once in a while, so if
you can, volunteer. They are also having a revel on Saturday nite.

Now on to other things....
Our wonderful Canton of Rundel is going to donate a whopping $500 to the
Castle Fund. This is the largest single donation from any group, and shows
the heart and spirit of the smallest group in the region. We are very proud
of our Canton, and all it's members. They are having a fighter practice on
Saturday the 28th of April. This is also their populace meeting. If you
want to have some fun, this would be a good place to do it.

Castellan is coming up fast. The children of Northkeep have been accepted as
the feast stewards. We are very excited at the prospect of a feast done by
all of the children of our group. The menu is impressive, and this promises
to be a grand feast. We do not recall this being done anywhere else in the
kingdom, and we eagerly await it. His Majesty will be in attendance, and
will be holding a Pelican's circle. Let's show all of our guests the
hospitality that is becoming famous throughout the kingdom. As usual,
everyone's generous help will be much appreciated. In other words, sign up
and volunteer!

We would like to thank all of our officers. Without you, our group would not
be what it is. Your hard work and dedication are fine examples of why
Northkeep Rocks(tm). Please keep up the good work.

Until next month, may your fields grow green, your herds increase, and your
longboats be sound.

Thorgrim - Sigen Northkeep
