ahh, teaches me to read the rest of my email before
responding to anything... yes, having a catalogue of
what you have is very very important, especially if
you aquire your library at once (as my case by
inheritance).  I have boxes and boxes of books with
lables like "SCI-FI", "History", "Technical Books" and
"Crap from your father's office."  It is so
frustrating because I know that I have such wonderful
resources, but no idea what or where.... a totally
un-usable resource. The shale of medieval study...
