[Northkeep] Sewing machine tension and sewing Velcro

Glad it was just a tension problem. If the machine had been performing fine
up till then, you probably just hit the knob and didn't notice.

Or, if it was working fine before you started working on Velcro, the Velcro
is probably to blame.

I'd recommend a blue jean (size 16 or 18) BALL POINT needle. Don't use a
"sharp" needle for sewing Velcro. I'd also use a zipper foot rather than
trying to run all that bulk beneath a regular presser foot. Use a strip of
double-sided tape instead of pins to hold the Velcro in place (pins and
Velcro just don't get along well).
