I maintain it's not even an official SCA gathering.  That's why
people aren't required to wear medieval costume, and we don't worry about
waivers and whether the under 18 crowd can attend without their parents'
presence.  It's just a total coincidence that most of the people who attend
happen to be in the SCA too.

BE CAREFUL !!!
THEY MIGHT WANT YOU TO SIGN A WAIVER SO THAT SCA MEMBERS CAN MEET AT NON SCA
GATHERINGS ...

SPEAKING OF ...

WHY DOESN'T THE SCA  JUST HAVE EVERYONE SIGN ONE BLANKET WAIVER ( SO THAT
THEY CAN KEEP IT ON FILE FOREVER )  INSTEAD OF GIVING EVERYONE THEIR POUND
OF PAPER AT EACH EVENT ???

I HAVE MY OWN THOUGHTS ON THIS , BUT IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO HEAR OTHERS
POINTS OF VIEW ..
