Happy Friday, Y'all.

This is to remind everyone that I will be teaching "The Care and Feeding of
Sewing Machines" at needleworker's this coming Monday.

I will be covering:

How machines work
How to clean and lubricate them
How to tell if they need to go to the shop
Proper threads and needles to use
How to solve the most common problems
Setting tension properly
Using the right presser foot
Cool little things designed into the machine that no one ever told you about
Attachments and how to use them properly
Sewing on different kinds of materials
Advice on purchasing a machine

I will be bringing my machine to demonstrate on, but please feel free to
bring your own, as different machines have different quirks, and I may be
able to better explain a problem if I can look at it. If you have any
attachments bring them along too (especially if you don't know what they
are). I will also have a handout (if I can find the blasted file again)

Talana
Off to Elfsea this weekend. Hope everyone has fun at the Blat.
