[Northkeep] Hey, Old Folks/Nordic Saga

This note is to keep the populace apprised, and to ask for some help.
As you probably know by now, I'm working on a history of Northkeep;
meanwhile, Baron Robert, our new historian has embarked on a plan to bring
together electronically old documents and things, and try to bring the
history of Northkeep to the populace.

To that end, I've made off with the Chronicler's collection of old Sagas to
study, am scanning them in for Robert, and as a bribe to the Barony, will be
binding them together, for easier use.

Guess what? Because of (I suspect) the normal issues of wear and tear,
accidents and just because, it's not a complete set. Now not everyone can
do anything about that. However, some of you have, in fact, been around
since before dirt - I know because some of these copies are filthy and your
names are in them (although spelled a little funny).

If by some chance you happened to save any of the old copies of the the Saga
(or for that matter, the Storm Winds, or whatever it was that William put
out before the Saga), I would like to photocopy them for all three projects.
  Condition is not really important.

The Saga collection appears to have started August AS XVI. We are missing
November and December, and everthing before August. I *think* August's may
be the first-ever issue, so if you have anything from before that, you get
all sorts of kudos.

I will keep everyone posted as I work my way through the years on the
scanning project.

Marc/Diarmaid
