For the record (and this is speaking as the anal retentive creep who gets to
shut the list down if things get ugly), I don't see anyone NOT getting
along.  We have some people expressing differing opinions, and trying to
talk about that.  That's great.  I just want to point out that because two
people do not agree, does not mean either has to agree or shut up (that
includes those people who disagree with me on this point - they can -still-
talk about it).  A disagreement is not an attack.  For example: I agree that
fighting's an important thing at MedFaire, and I suspect that the people who
made the decision to limit fighting times also think it's important.  OTOH,
I really doubt that a three day fighting demo would have the draw that the
whole faire thing does.  Maybe it might, but really I think it's the novelty
of watching people hit each other with sticks that brings in the crowds we
see around the field.  Meewnhile, the other umpteen thousand people who are
there are out doing other things throughout the faire.

Personally, I disagree with Carl's opinion that everything else is BS, but
that's probably not a big surprise to anyone.  I'm not interested in it all
either, but someone seems to be interested in it.

That's not attacking Carl, it's just disagreeing with something that he
wrote.  If I'd wanted to attack Carl, I would have - and then I would have
been in the wrong.

In short, disagreeing is perfectly fine.  Arguing is an expression of that,
and one I'm cool with - just please try to not make it personal, and try not
to take it personally.
