Please make this announcement to your populaces.

Due to mundane pressures, Earl Barn Silveraxe has resigned the
position of Northern Regional Archery Marshal.  Starting immediately,
I will be serving in this position until Coronation in January.

I know that many of you have expressed an interest in becoming
archery marshals, and it will be my goal in the next six months to
get as many of you authorized as possible.

My priorities will be to get a "warranted" archery officer in place
in every group that has someone willing to hold the position, then to
"authorize" as many others as are interested and qualified.

If you are interested in becoming a Warranted Archery Marshal (an
officer of the SCA), a Target Archery Supervising Marshal (not an
officer but can run a range), or a Combat Archery Authorizing Marshal
(can supervise combat archers), please let me know as soon as
possible.  I will be at the following events specifically to get
people authorized as marshals.

08/31/02 Wiesenfeuer Baronial
09/07/02 Mooneschadowe Guardian
09/28/02 Wastelands Defender
10/05/02 Rundel Margrave/Vormund
10/11/02 Namron Protectorate
10/26/02 Eldern Hills Samhain

In addition, I am planning on visiting archery practices at
Wiesenfeuer, Namron, and Northkeep for the same purpose.

If you live in the Northern region and believe you are already
authorized as any kind of archery marshal, please contact me as soon
as possible.
