[Northkeep] IKAC Competition to be hosted by the Barony of Namron

The Barony of Namron’s Archery Marshal Lady Constance NicLeoi invites all archers to attend an Interkingdom Achery Competition on Saturday, March 23rd, 2002 at the property of Lord Magnus (Ace) Strongaxe, 4141 48th Ave S.E., Norman, Oklahoma.

Equipment check will begin at 12 Noon and competition will begin directly afterwards.  The competition consists of 12 rounds: two untimed rounds at 40, two timed at 40, two untimed rounds at 30, two timed at 30, two untimed at 20 and two timed at 20.  During the untimed the archer will use only 6 arrows/bolts.  During the timed the archer may loose as many arrows/bolts at time allows.  For the Children’s Division, the distances are 10,15 and 20 yards.  Scores will be reported to the Kingdom.

Please be sure to bring your SCA membership card (or at least know your membership number), chairs, cloak or something warm, and sunscreen.  The high is predicted to be 60 degrees, partly cloudy with a southeasterly 5 –15 mile per hour wind.  If the weather changes for the worse, the competition may be cancelled – the cancellation will be posted to the lists.

-Take Broadway Ext. south to I-35.
-Continue south on I-35 through Norman to HWY 9.
-Take the HWY-9 E/OK-74-ALT/LINDSEY ST exit- exit number 108A-B- towards
UNIV. OF OKLA./TECUMSEH.
-Follow HWY 9 through south Norman past HWY 77, past Postal Service Building,
past 36th street and then past new housing edition.
-The next street is 48th (there is a large street sign before that says 48th).
-Turn right (south) on 48th street.
-You will pass Cedar Lane intersection (you are now in the country by the way!)
-Lord Magnus’s driveway is on the left (east side) address is 4141 S.E. 48th Street.
Mailbox across on right side of the street has address on
it and says "Tribe".  There will also be a sign posted at the driveway. From HWY 9 to Lord Magnus’s driveway is about a mile and quarter.

-From North I-35 after you cross river bridge take HWY 9 East exit towards UNIV. OF OKLA./TECUMSEH.
-Follow HWY 9 through south Norman, past HWY 77, past Postal Service Building,
