I think it depends on what sort of guild you want to have.  Some sorts of
guilds are group recognized meetings, (needleworkers guild, and so on).
Others are technically "households" as that is the smallest organized unit
in the SCA structure (technically, although most may not consider themselves
such, groups like ships, fighting companies - heck the old "demo guild"
qualified - although it wasn't supposed to be, as 'households').  Normally,
however, households are more personal, family/friend related kind of things.
