I've been asked by a gentleman (who's been very helpful to me -- he's the
one who sent me the russian books) if I have any information on Italian
Armor. Honestly the answer is "no, I don't". I know virtually nothing
relevant about armor production (beyond some basics here and there).
However, we have people here who might know something.

I would be really grateful if anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, hints,
actual materials, whatever.

His request is specifically:

"I['m] trying to collect information and images of Italian gothic armour
from the 15 c. I've got both classical books on Madonna della Grazie
collection by Mann, and article about "Devil Mask" armour (don't
remember author). I also have some popular (but not so useful) images
of armour from Cherburg collection, and some other. May be main
treasury - Italian frescoes by Paolo Uccello and Pierro Della
Francesca.
Unfortunately, in Russia there are no samples of Italian armour from
this period. I know, that some European and American museums have in
their collections Italian armours and it's parts.
May be you can help me with this theme? I looking for *everything*:
images, reports of investigation, museum describes, links, books and
articles on history, trade and production of such armour, and so
on..."
