LOL - Ok, ok, no picking on Etienne.  He and I were discussing roses for the
consorts and I remarked that I had seen some lovely purple roses.  He said
that if he could find a WOMAN to fight for him in Crown that the purple
roses would go with his fancy purple silk court garb.......

OK.  Let's clear this now...

I am not (nor I think will Evan be) getting a sex change in order for
that to happen.  A King and Queen in the SCA do have to be of the
opposite genders; it is in the rules.

I am not really seeking someone to fight for me.  That is a carry over
from a joke about purple roses.

   I have made a few inquiries...not much response. It is my intent to

the list at our upcoming Crown tournament. I do not however have at

a lady who will stand at my side to be my queen should fate decide I am
