Any zig-zag machine _can_ make buttonholes, but I think it's easier 
to do them by hand.  I found fairly detailed instructions at 
http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/el_buttonholes2.html if you're 
good at following written instructions, or I can show you how in 
person sometime.
