...EXTREMELY COLD TEMPERATURES FELT THIS MORNING...THOUGH STILL
FAR FROM RECORD BREAKING...
WHILE BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES ARE BEING EXPERIENCED TODAY ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS...THE LOW TEMPERATURES THIS
MORNING IN TULSA AND FORT SMITH WERE 8 AND 13 RESPECTIVELY. RECORD
LOWS FOR THIS DAY WERE SET IN 1930...WHEN THE TEMPERATURE FELL TO 8
BELOW ZERO IN TULSA AND 3 BELOW IN FORT SMITH.
ALTHOUGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE VERY COLD AGAIN
TONIGHT...FALLING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS AND LOWER TEENS ACROSS THE
AREA...LOW TEMPERATURE RECORDS ARE NOT LIKELY TO BE BROKEN.
For wInterkingdom dress in warm layers.... it's gonna be cold in the mornings and mild during the day. Layers will allow you peel off the layer as you warm up, and them add them back on when it's time to travel into the cold night again. Don't forget to drink plenty of water, you body need as much water in cold weather as it does in the heat.
Friday. Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
Friday night. Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 20s.
Saturday. Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 50s.
Saturday night. Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain in the evening. Lows in the mid 20s.
Sunday. Becoming clear. Highs in the lower 40s.
Enjoy the fun,
Lord Marcus Quietly
