I think our best explanation for why we're moving the event is that January
had become too crowded.  I'm not sure we need to say more than that.

And I agree with the advance publicity - I'll make sure that Beth et al get
on that........

Just a thought since it came up while talking to someone about something
else.  We might want to make sure we mention it early and a lot publically
and on the lists that the date has moved to Novermber, and come up with
"why" that I can use explaining it that won't be overly harsh :)
