I know absolutely zilch about working with wood, but have an idea for a project I'm mulling over for a future event, token item... If I wanted to cut out a small shape, perhaps 1/2" by 3" and no more than 1/4" thick, what would be the most durable wood and least likely to break? And what sort of saw would I use ? Jig-saw?
