You know, I've been working on myself an awful lot these days to make myself
more human. Certainly it is so easy to shoot of an email in the heat of
anger at someone and never look at them. I admit that I have done it many
times myself.

Regarding the past demo. . . I can understand your embarrassment Anawyn and
all the others of you who have had to stand alone in a crowd of people and
try to save face. That is a terrible feeling. . . I've been there too. . .
not sca but elsewhere. It evokes all kinds of thoughts and feelings and
embarrassment.
I can also understand the pain of embarrassment and other thoughts and
feelings of those who failed to meet the commitment. I do not however think
that any one of the 3 or 4 individuals who committed themselves to this
should take soul blame. Zahava, I think you should reconsider what you said
about taking full responsibility. Certainly take responsibility for yourself
but not for others.

We are a community folks. Whether we choose to admit it or not. We have come
to the sca for many different reasons. . . I think that I've heard people
talk about their dream "THE DREAM" and there are as many different oppinions
as there are individuals in the sca. I believe that all of them are
important. I think the demos are just as important as the bardic circles as
the arts and science displays as the fighting as the parties on a late
saturday night. And what is so beautiful is the sca supports all of these
things... ALL of these dreams. Certainly I can only suggest and never tell
another how to think or act but may I suggest that we try to be a little
kinder... a little more understanding... a little more like a community of
people should be.

Life sucks sometimes. Sometimes we stand alone and sometimes things do not
work out.

Like begets like.

Blessings,
