[Northkeep] Name/Device Question

So once a name and device are decided upon, I do the research with the help
of the heralds or the heralds do the research or I do it alone. What is the
next step toward submission? I know Etienne said documentation from the
Acadamy was sufficient and I have that. For the device, where will I get the
documentation, since it looks as though there is not a submission exactly
like the one I want? And how do I tie it in with my persona/time frame?
