Yes, there is a dictionary.  It is the combined effort of two very knowledgeable heralds.  It was no minor task, as there are literally hundreds and hundreds of heraldic terms. It takes most heralds several years of study to know most of them.

Is there actually a "dictionary" sort of listing of what these things mean?
If not, perhaps someone could make one... doesn't seem it would be all that
difficult... and it would be a good reference for us new people. Seems so
easy that I would think there would already be one out there somewhere...
don't you think? I would be happy to type something out if I had a clue what
they all were... I will compile the information I have so far (not much) and
perhaps copy the list from that website to create an Excel spreadsheet or
something. (time lapse) I have created a spread sheet with each page one
letter from A to Z... and one for colors. Now all I need is to insert all
these words... unless there is already a source out there.
