The event is the weekend before Gulf in Coffeeville, KS.  
 
The March Warden tourney is one of the most novel in a long time.
 
The fights are counted blows.  First, you line up with your opponent and
shoot an archery round.  Based on this you get a certain number of counted
blows.  This is added to a base of two to give the number of killing blows
your opponent has to land before he can eliminate you.  You have to hit him
whatever his number is.  
 
If you are in town, give it a thought.

Our Shire will be hosting the March Warden Event this year in the Great
Kingdom of Calontir. We will have plenty of activities for everyone, enough
entertainment to wear you out, and enough food to quench your hunger. We
also have 24 indoor merchant booths, and extra space outside. Camping fee is
