Thank you, though I've seen the site before.  I just bring it up (every so 
often) because it IS a brand name, and not a name for a specific type of 
fabric that anyone has been able to show me; and of course I'm 
mind-numbingly pedantic about trivia :)

Honestly, as snobby as it sounds, I suspect it's just a frustrated flailing 
about as another term is relentlessly ground into one of those goofy SCAisms 
(like troll for gate, dragon for car, -ocrat for someone whose in charge of 
something or other, etc.).  Just ignore me, everyone else does...
